The staff are efficient and friendly. They also open late, which makes it a good place to buy last-minute snacks. The chocolate scones are pretty good, but rather expensive at $4.50 for six small pieces. Thankfully, there were plenty of chocolate chips, and each bite is full of chocolatey goodness.

The BreadTalk outlet is the usual one, found almost everywhere. I recently bought some scones, and while the raisin ones were good, I recommend avoiding the cheese scones, as they were very dry and inedible. The service, however, was excellent.

Just bought some bread from BreadTalk in Canberra Plaza. The staff informed me that I needed to pay 10 cents for a plastic bag. Honestly, when I buy bread, I definitely need a bag; otherwise, how can I carry it? It seems that when the "recycle and reduce plastic bag use" campaign started, the companies simply took the opportunity to reduce their costs and increase profits. 😒🙄

I am a Canberra resident and would like to compliment this Breadtalk outlet in Canberra. Due to our household needs, we've made purchases from Breadtalk Canberra almost every day for the last 5+ years. Staff Rong and Vi have been very friendly and warm in assisting us with our purchases. Whenever there are new products in the store, they promptly introduce them to us. Compared to other Breadtalk outlets and nearby bakeries, we much prefer to make our purchases at the Canberra outlet. We've noticed that the Canberra team maintains the store very well: the store is bright and always sparkling clean; the trays and tongs are always clean; the breads are neatly displayed and constantly well replenished; and the quality and appearance of the breads are always uniform, appealing, fresh, and well-baked. Service is also fast and highly efficient at the counter; they even take extra care and effort to pack our purchases gently and nicely instead of rushing. Staff, and even your chefs, are always very approachable, smiling, and welcoming. It's very nice to see them working as a team (regardless of their positions), helping each other out, especially when the store gets busy. I hope this Google review reaches headquarters and that credit goes where it's due. Please keep up the good job, and may other outlets take reference from them in maintaining the high quality and service standards of Breadtalk.

BreadTalk in Canberra Plaza. The taste and quality are great, but the prices have been slowly rising.

There were a lot of flies on the food in the display case.
