Absolutely disappointing. Despite the rising price, we still enjoy our toast and coffee from time to time. We went today and it was already closed at 9:18 pm, even though Google Maps lists the closing time as 9:30 pm. The shutters were already down.

"I'm usually a fan of Ya Kun, but this outlet disappointed me. The cashier, a young Malaysian lady with brown hair, was very rude. I was standing in front of her, and she was using her phone even though she saw me. After I told her my order, she didn't acknowledge it and proceeded to payment. She didn't ask about the payment method and assumed I would use paywave. There was no "thank you," or any other words from her. Did Ya Kun hire someone who is mute?"

I approached a staff member to politely ask them to clean a dirty table. She pointed somewhere above her head and said it wasn't her job. The other three staff members turned to look at me, then turned back and continued their tasks. I then asked the cashier if I needed to ask every staff member who could clear the table, but she ignored my question as well.
I suggest placing a feedback QR code so customers can more easily share their experiences.

The customer service was poor. The eggs and coffee were cold. The staff didn't seem interested in working, appearing more interested in their phones. They had a bad attitude towards customers and displayed unprofessional facial expressions. This is just one of many outlets in Singapore, but it is one of the worst.

The staff didn’t ask how many were in my party, and they split my table. It wasn't polite or respectful, especially since there were plenty of empty tables!
The coffee was diluted, and the sandwich was terrible; the toast was like a biscuit.
I remember prawn noodles were on the Yakun menu last time, but they aren't anymore.

"How is it acceptable for your female cashier, whose primary responsibility is to take customer orders, to wear an earpiece while working?
(I ordered “Set F,” but she gave me “Set A.”)"

"I've been to this outlet many times since I live nearby. There's an auntie who makes coffee; from the first day I was there, she kept staring at me, seemingly unhappy. Worse, she makes the worst coffee. Ya Kun coffee is expensive, but there should at least be a standard. The moment I see the auntie making coffee, I won't buy any again!"

The worst teh peng I have ever drunk. It was literally diluted. There was no tea smell. The staff were chatting with someone who wasn't a customer about jewelry and let those in the queue wait.
The table was also dirty. Three people were working, or should I say, just chatting away.

There is a younger lady from Malaysia who works as a cashier and has a serious attitude problem. She gives a very disapproving look just for doing her simple job. When I complained about the taste and quality of the coffee, which was indeed lacking, she looked as if she wanted to fight and didn’t acknowledge that a customer was even talking to her. This aligns with other reviews about her.
