A good clinic with a harmonious environment. The doctor in charge is understanding and patiently explains things if you have concerns. The three counter staff members are attentive, helpful, and friendly during each visit.
The queue management leaves a lot to be desired. I registered at 9 am and received an SMS indicating two patients ahead.
Through the HealthHub website, I noticed the number of patients ahead kept increasing to four or five, then reducing to three, and then going back to four.
I went to the clinic to ask, and the receptionist said they would ask the doctor.
Five minutes later, the receptionist said they would move me to the next spot.
At 10:35 am, more than 1.5 hours later, another patient went in, and I still saw three patients ahead of me.
If you're visiting this clinic, please note that two patients ahead may still mean a wait of more than 1.5 hours, as they will insert patients into the queue ahead of you.
Ordered a set that came with curry fish head and two dishes. I upgraded the fish head, but it was disappointing. The fish was hard, and not all parts were cooked. I found a fish scale or two. It seemed like frozen fish. The curry was okay, but not to my liking. Two stars for the issues. If you like curry fish head, please go to the nearest coffee shop; they serve better food.
The food isn't too bad, and the curry was slightly spicier than I expected. I ordered the chicken curry rice, and the chicken was quite dry, but the curry, potato, and beancurd skin were okay. The portion for the cereal prawn could also be bigger.
We came to NaNa Curry, which is near our home, for a simple birthday celebration. We liked the food. The outlet is a bit obscure and out of sight, hidden at the end of level 2 after you come up the escalator. Perhaps a hidden gem! We all like it here.
Nearest MRT: Canberra station.
"The curry fish head had a unique flavor. We also tried two other signature dishes: salt egg prawns and milky pork chop. The flavor was good, and the prawns were fresh. We went around 2 PM, so it was quite empty. Usually, it's packed because the cafe isn't very big. I will come again to try the other signature dishes."
It's a small eatery. I came here and tried their fish head curry and salted egg yolk lotus. The curry is nice, and the lotus is yummy! We ordered a small portion, and we were stuffed. The fish head curry has a lot of ingredients; they aren't stingy with them! Worth trying! I can't give it 5 stars, as we haven't tried other dishes yet. I will come back to try them!
We ordered the curry chicken and the snow white pork ribs. The food was nice. We ordered both in M size, which was sufficient for two people. The place was also clean. We went at 6 pm on a Friday, and it wasn't too crowded. The staff was quite polite.
I was extremely disappointed with Nana Curry at Canberra Plaza. A few weeks ago, I ordered the Fried Rice Paradise and Prawn Omelette. After waiting almost half an hour for the takeaway, I reached home and saw that the fried rice was only half a box, as if someone had scooped out a big spoonful. The Prawn Omelette was just a Fuyong omelette. Despite our disappointment, we decided to order something else today: Golden tofu with mushroom. What was delivered in the pick-up order was just egg tofu. It was nothing like what we've ordered in the past, which was homemade tofu. This is really cheating their customers.
The newest addition to Canberra Plaza, I'd never tried Nana curry before today.
Only cash payment is available for now. The place is rather small, but they do take reservations.
We only tried the mutton curry because the chicken curry was out of stock. The curry was decent but not mind-blowing, and not as spicy as I expected. We ordered medium, and I thought they were quite generous with the amount of mutton cubes. The curry was filled with mutton cubes, beancurd skin, taupok, firm tofu, and potatoes. We ordered fried mantou (comes in 6 pieces) to go with it; note that they are the mini ones.
The traditional ngoh hiong was alright too; my husband said it was nice – he really liked the home-cooked style, but it wasn't juicy enough for me.
The female crew members were friendly, and we didn't wait too long for our food. Overall, it's a decent alternative to fast-food restaurants in the plaza.
