BreadTalk in Canberra Plaza. The taste and quality are great, but the prices have been slowly rising.

"I would like to compliment Su Zhen on her passion and patience with customers at work."

Went in the morning to buy food for my family, but I noticed the shuttle was half-open with a staff member inside. I went to ask if the store was open, and she just stared at me. I asked again, and she said in Chinese that the store was open. I waited to see if she would ask me to help open the shuttle or open it herself, but she just continued doing her own thing. I then noticed there weren't any youtiao yet, so I wanted to ask if she could make some so I could purchase them. I tried to get her attention, but she seemed to glance at me and proceeded to ignore me. Terrible experience. I didn’t manage to get her name, but she was a Chinese staff member who seemed really unhappy and unwilling to provide basic service or responses.

Bought the you tiao this morning. It was so tough. I needed to dip it in coffee; otherwise, it was difficult to chew. I'm still disappointed; it's the same even after the feedback.

Edited review: "Dug through the youtiao and sold the worst-looking, dry, and shriveled ones. Nasty."

Terrible service. The fried dough rojak was like a cold, hard rock, which I believe had been refried. The sauce is pre-packaged for DIY mixing, instead of being made in-store. They skimp on food quality, yet they keep increasing prices.

Freshly fried dough fritters and carrot cake – hot and tasty.

"Usually the food quality and experience is okay, but today was just unpleasant. I went to buy Rojak You Tiao, and the lady said it was the last one, which I said was okay. So she packed it for me, gave me my food, and I gave her $4. She then said she didn't have $1 change. I was shocked. She insisted I get the change or go to 7-Eleven to get some. I asked what if I had a $10 bill; could she give me back $7? I saw she had a $5 and a $2 in the register, but she said no. I asked to pay by NETS, and she said everything was already closed. What bullcrap is this? Luckily, the senior staff told her to just return the $1, which she actually had in the cash register. It was a waste of time. To make matters worse, the Rojak was cold, hard, and unpleasant to eat. Sad. A super sad supper for me."

"First time trying it. The food was cold and bland. The service staff even put both items in one bag, instead of two."
