The food is excellent, and the service is way above excellent. The Seafood Crispy Noodles have a lot of sauce, and the shrimp are huge and fresh. The chicken feet are succulent and tasty, and the sweet and sour pork tastes 10/10. The Teochew pork cold dish is yummy.

The supervisor (guy) needs training. He asked us what water we wanted when we were just seated, only to find out it was $2 each. Just be careful; they don’t tell you beforehand. But the food is really good. It's just that the supervisor makes the whole experience quite frustrating. I would appreciate it if he would let us know about the water cost beforehand.

"My first time having dinner here was to celebrate a birthday with my family. Overall, the experience was just so-so. The food portions were pathetically small for the five of us. Considering the portion sizes, the price was pricey and not worth it."

The food is alright; it's average, traditional Teochew-style dining. There's room for food improvement to attract a younger crowd. The service staff members are friendly and allow food requests. They also change your plates promptly. The ambiance is classic, with a very traditional, old-school Teochew restaurant vibe. I will be back to try more. 🌟

On February 6, a group of eight colleagues gathered at Chin Lee Tea & Dine for a festive Lou Hei lunch to celebrate Chinese New Year. As a Teochew restaurant, it emphasizes a healthier style of cooking. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a uniquely prepared Lou Hei. Notably, the meal left no aftertaste of thirst, which was a pleasant surprise. I was especially pleased to enjoy the yam paste dessert with a vegan option, meaning it was served without pork lard. The service was excellent, with attentive servers who promptly replaced our plates and ensured our tea was constantly refilled. Overall, we had a sumptuous and satisfying meal, well worth the price. No regrets!

My relatives and my family frequent this place for rather authentic Teochew cuisine. Their Siew Mai is amazingly delicious, with water chestnut in it. Their prawn roll is also very succulent, and their pork jelly is an all-time hit with the elderly. Their signature tofu is nicely done, and their garlic chicken is very tender and meaty. The only two "meh" dishes are their garlic fish slices (it seems like frozen fish, and there isn't much taste) and the signature mee sua. It just tastes like fried bee hoon and is overly salty. The chai poh kway teow is very uniquely Teochew, and they did it really well! It's my all-time favorite. Their oyster omelette is very succulent and fresh too. The chili is great! It's definitely a Teochew restaurant that the elderly would love. There's a 15% discount with UOB or Citi cards when you dine in!

The ever-so-reliable Teo Heng! It's reasonably priced, and you can often walk in without a reservation for a quick karaoke session. Canned drinks are $1 each.

The old woman working at the counter gave us death stares and didn't want to let us in, apparently because we looked like gangsters. They told us to come at 8:15, so we waited outside and returned at 8:15 since we didn't have a booking. Then they seated a couple who arrived later. Absolutely shameful!

"I had a fantastic time! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. There were numerous song choices, and you could even search on YouTube for any song you wanted. The room was simple but spacious, comfortably accommodating the three of us in the small room we booked. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!"
