This ramen place is quite affordable, and the soup tasted good. A basic ramen costs $9, and you can add $4 for a side and a drink. The pork slice is very thin, though nice. The egg was quite overcooked; I think it sat out too long before being served. I also noted some inflexibility in the restaurant; they don't allow tables to be moved or adjusted to accommodate your party size.

I wanted to have some soup for dinner and tried the ramen from this eatery. I must say I really enjoyed the food. The noodles were cooked just right, not too tough, and the soup was yummy. I'm here again with my mum, and we tried different dishes. My mum likes the noodles and soup too. As her teeth aren't too strong, she thinks the texture of the noodles is just right as well. I will take my daughter next time. Sorry, we were too excited to try the food and took pictures only after we started. 😋

I ordered the Char Siu spicy miso ramen. As someone who loves ramen, this ramen isn't bad, but it isn't the best either. Eating this ramen made me feel very cozy and warm, but what I didn't like is that it wasn't spicy enough. As a spice lover, my go-to ramen option is always the spicy one. Though the broth wasn't a huge disappointment in terms of spice (for me), I thought the broth was very rich and flavorful. However, for this price, there are better ramen options available. If the spicy miso ramen were spicier, I would really love this ramen. Side note: I added a lot of the spice powder, but it wasn't spicy at all.

"I encountered a staff member named Indrani on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 7:30 PM who was very unfriendly and appeared unhappy when we approached the self-checkout counter. The machine stopped halfway through the process, requiring assistance. When I approached her, she came unwillingly to help. I asked if I should weigh the apples, but she didn't reply or acknowledge me, simply walking away and returning with the price sticker, which she handed over with a sullen expression. We don't appreciate this kind of attitude. This was my first time encountering such a rude NTUC staff member!"

"I am very satisfied with your cashier, Indrani. She is helpful and friendly. She approached me spontaneously when I was trying to use the Scan & Go machine. Thank you!"

The watermelon wasn't fresh. I bought it on the way home, and when I tried to eat it, I noticed it had turned sour. I had to discard the whole piece.

I was quite shocked to see the condition of this wrap during my visit on May 11th. It was extremely moldy, and the best-before date was clearly July 3rd. Would the department staff or branch manager please look into this seriously? Thank you.

I have been served by Jessica Yip a few times and found her to be curt and unfriendly. She always seemed unhappy. There were no smiles, pleases, or thank yous from her when completing payment transactions. Her attitude was terrible. Seriously, NTUC should send her for retraining or place her in a non-frontline position instead of letting her ruin customers’ buying experiences and moods at the Canberra outlet.

The meat and vegetables I bought were not fresh, even though I paid the usual price.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the auto checkout facility in your store. While using the auto checkout, I encountered difficulties with the machine, particularly regarding the payment transaction. Unfortunately, I was not informed that removing items from the machine while making payment could result in the transaction being locked. The staff, who assisted in unlocking the machine, did not provide clear instructions, leading to further issues. I understand that using the auto checkout may require some familiarity. However, it would be greatly beneficial for customers if there were explicit instructions or warnings on the machine itself. Additionally, the staff's response was less than satisfactory, as they became rude and impatient without adequately explaining the situation. I kindly request that NTUC Canberra Plaza consider retraining its staff to handle such situations with more patience and politeness. Furthermore, providing clearer instructions at the auto checkout machines can prevent misunderstandings and improve the overall customer experience. I hope for a positive resolution and an enhanced shopping experience at NTUC Canberra Plaza.
